What is the Big Bike Ride?
The Big Bike Ride is a heart-pumping, cheer-thumping, crazy big, fun fundraising ride in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
On 'ride day' 29 riders power one Big Bike over the course of 20 minute. Event drivers accompany each team as they pedal through their community, literally stopping traffic to support critical heart disease and stroke research. It's a ton of fun!
McConville Omni Gets In the Ride & Raises $3,494
At McConville Omni, we understand the importance and benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. Although we don't have any personal connection to the organization, this event has been prominent in the London community and the rides are a lot of fun. Over the years, we've seen the Big Bikes – and their very excited riders – on event day in downtown London.
As we researched the Heart & Stroke Foundation, we realized the importance of the work – and as a team, we decided to support the organization to ensure that critical research in hospitals and universities across Canada can continue. The goal: Healthy lives free of heart disease and stroke.
